About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AEP and AJO Engineer to join our team at Commonwealth Bank. As a key member of our CommSec Digital and Customer Crew, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering digital experiences that surprise and delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, digital experience managers, content producers, and developers to build a state-of-the-art Digital Platform using Adobe's Experience Platform Product Suite.
  • Design efficient content models, security models, workflows, and templates.
  • Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse.
  • Define common business and development processes, platform, and tools usage for AEM Platform solutions and delivery.
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Monitor the website and platform for performance, security, and incidents and respond to those issues, risks, and incidents to meet SLAs.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in setting up multi-channel personalization and experience platforms such as Adobe Journey Optimizer.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) including integrations with core data systems, platform governance, schema configurations, and the ad-on services for Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), and Real-time CDP (RTCDP).
  • Experience in managing email channels in platforms such as Adobe Campaign Manager or Adobe Journey Optimizer, including template creation, channel management, and data and segmentation.
  • Experience and understanding of tag management including JavaScript, data layer, and tagging approaches across digital assets, including mobile applications (SDK), web single-page application (SDK), websites, and the configuration and management of data streams to digital platforms such as Adobe, Google, Facebook, etc.
  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms such as Adobe Real-time CDP for the creation and sharing of data segments and destinations, including first-party channels and advertising platforms such as Google and Facebook.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in development of website content using Adobe Experience Manager or similar CMS, including creating templates, content publishing workflows, and the publishing of content into other channels such as mobile apps, secure applications, and authenticated environments.
  • Experience in working with and developing design systems for single-page application frameworks (SPA) websites.
  • Experience in designing and managing digital asset managers (DAM) for the scale of content across multiple digital channels and multiple brands.
  • Experience in headless websites, creation of experience fragments (Adobe HTML offers), and content fragments (JSON offers), and the integration of these offers across websites and mobile applications.
  • Experience in the integration and configuration of Adobe Cloud Solutions, including AEM, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Launch, Audience, and AEP, etc.
  • Commendable skills and understanding of software engineering and architecture principles, including end-to-end test automation, UI testing, and CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity).

Qualification

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
