Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily financial tasks including accounts payable and receivable processing invoice verification and expense management. Provide support for the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of accounting policies and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Offer guidance and support to junior team members to enhance their skills and expertise.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance and accounting preferably in a business process management (BPM) or shared services center (SSC) environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Word is necessary.
- Experience with accounting software such as SAP or QuickBooks is beneficial.
