Job Overview

As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for creating system testbeds using various networking devices and servers. You will perform QA validation of 802.11 Wireless and proprietary features, including end-to-end validation of client to cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop comprehensive test plans to validate the performance and functionality of wireless access points.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Develop technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and improve testing efficiency.
  • Train and guide junior engineers on emerging wireless technologies and best practices.
  • Conduct performance testing using iPerf and identify areas for improvement.
  • Escalate critical issues in a timely manner to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Lead Engineer with 8+ years of experience.
  • BE/ME/MS in EE, CS, or related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax protocol standards.
  • Hands-on experience in QA validation of Enterprise grade Wireless Access Points.
  • Basic concepts of routing and switching (including VLAN, DHCP, DNS, NAT, Trunk/Native).
  • Hands-on experience in validating IEEE802.1x feature using Freeradius or any standard RADIUS server.
  • In-depth knowledge of various 802.11 protocols such as 802.11r/k/v.
  • Must have experience in troubleshooting based on Wireless packet captures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CWNA/CWSP/CWAP Certified.
  • Scripting in Python.
  • Hands-on experience on ISE/ClearPass.
