Email Security Specialist Position

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Email Security Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for implementing and configuring advanced email security solutions, ensuring the highest level of protection against phishing, malware, and other cyber threats.


The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of email protocols, network architecture, and email routing, filtering, and encryption techniques. They will also have hands-on experience with industry-leading email security tools such as Mimecast, Cisco Secure Email (IronPort), Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Symantec/Broadcom, Barracuda, Trend Micro, and Fortinet.


Job Description:
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of Proofpoint solutions, including Email Protection, TAP, DLP, Security Awareness, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their security requirements, design tailored configurations, and ensure seamless implementations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email flow, phishing, malware, encryption, and policy enforcement.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and Proofpoint support to escalate and resolve complex problems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support handover materials for clients.
  • Participate in training programs and certifications to enhance Proofpoint expertise.
