As a Cloud Engineering professional, you will have the opportunity to design, build, and validate resilient, scalable, and automated cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudFront.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform or CloudFormation and AWS SDKs.
  • Manage containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS.
Cloud Development
  • Build automation scripts, deployment utilities, and infrastructure tooling using Python programming language.
  • Develop custom monitoring and alerting integrations with APIs, SDKs, and third-party observability platforms.
  • Implement self-healing and resilience-focused automation scripts.
Resilience and Chaos Engineering
  • Design and execute chaos experiments to validate system resilience, including fault injection, latency, outages, and resource failures.
  • Use tools like Gremlin, Litmus, Chaos Mesh, or AWS Fault Injection Simulator to simulate failures and test system recovery.
  • Partner with SRE and development teams to define service level indicators (SLIs), service level objectives (SLOs), and error budgets.
DevOps and Observability
  • Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated deployments using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Integrate observability frameworks such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch, and Datadog for monitoring and tracing.
Security and Compliance
  • Apply security best practices for AWS security, networking, and data protection.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory frameworks.
