Job Description

The primary focus of this position is to support the SAP IS-U FI-CA application for a customer by providing resolutions to incidents, service requests, and change requests within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

The role requires ensuring all related incidents and issues are appropriately recorded and reviewed during weekly status meetings (or sooner) to ensure timely resolution. Any issue that impacts schedule, quality, scope, or cost should be documented.

This position involves interacting with stakeholders and other streams to understand business requirements, coordinating with an offshore consortium, and ensuring project delivery timelines.

The SAP specialist will design and implement complex requirements related to regulatory and non-regulatory requirements. Resource planning and estimating developments, ensuring execution as per the planning, are also key responsibilities.

The specialist will coordinate work with the Business IT team and Wipro onsite-offshore team, defining objectives and development plans, including developing documentation independently analyzing, solving, and correcting issues in real-time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.

Additionally, the specialist will continuously improve and automate business processes, track issues, and document changes. Troubleshooting technical issues and identifying modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements are also part of the job.

The role includes sharing domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship, and cross-training to other peers and team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5-8 years of work experience
  • Experience in SAP FI-CA module, including debugging
  • FI-CA configuration skills, including main/sub payment hierarchy, clearing rules, dunning, security deposits, payment clearings, open item management, tax, installment plans, returns, refund process, write-offs
  • Strong support activities experience (incidents, service requests, enhancements)
  • Customer-facing project experience
  • Ability to mine new opportunities and design/build custom function modules with medium complexity program logic
  • Capability of finding automation opportunities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to research and resolve issues
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, communicate task status clearly, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • English language skills required (min B2 level)
  • German language skills is an added advantage
