Senior Piping Design Professional

\

We are looking for an experienced piping design professional with strong expertise in piping, HVAC design, and 3D modeling tools. The ideal candidate will have exposure to Marine/Offshore projects (preferred) and should also be open to opportunities across Piping design-related domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Lead piping design and layout activities for complex engineering projects.\
  • Prepare and review piping GA drawings, isometrics, MTOs, and support drawings.\
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, structural, mechanical, instrumentation, etc.).\
  • Perform clash detection and resolve design issues using advanced 3D modeling tools.\
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.\
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers.\
  • Handle global client interactions professionally, capturing requirements and delivering effective design solutions.\
  • Good understanding of client requirements and carrying out design-related tasks based on inputs.\
  • Knowledge of all marine classification societies, standards, and rules.\
  • Ability to communicate effectively who can work individually and as a team.\
  • Ensure timely delivery of design packages while adhering to project schedules and quality benchmarks.\
  • Proactively identify risks, deviations, and propose solutions to maintain design integrity.\
  • Collaborate with procurement and vendors for equipment/piping interface requirements.\
  • Support fabrication, installation, and commissioning teams with design clarifications and site queries (as required).\
  • Prepare design documentation, reports, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.\
  • Ensure designs comply with project specifications, client standards, international codes, and classification society rules.\
  • Perform 3D modeling, clash detection, and resolve design issues using advanced tools.\

Qualifications:

  • Diploma, Degree in Engineering, or relevant qualification.\
  • Experience: 4–12 years (or relevant senior-level experience) in piping design.\
  • Background in Marine/Offshore projects is highly desirable.\
  • AutoCAD Plant 3D proficiency.\
  • Proficiency in Recap and Navisworks Manage.\
  • Experience with parametric modeling tools.\
  • AI tool familiarity.\
  • Software skills must include AutoCAD Plant 3D, Recap, Navisworks Manage.\
