GCP Analyst Position

Duration: Long-term Contract

Our organization is seeking a skilled GCP Analyst to fill this key role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data acquisition pipelines using Google Cloud services.
  • Construct complex datasets based on business requirements and leverage various tools in the Google Cloud Ecosystem, including Python, Data Flow, DataStream, CDC, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
  • Use logs and alerts to effectively monitor pipelines and design an ingestion pipeline using REST API.
  • Partition and retrieve content in Big Query and use IAM roles and policy tags to secure the data.

The successful candidate will be responsible for translating business needs into technical requirements, identifying opportunities for data acquisition, and recommending ways to improve data quality, reliability, and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience in data engineering with core GCP experience of 3-4 years.
  • Proficiency in Google Cloud services, including Python, Data Flow, DataStream, CDC, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
  • Strong understanding of data acquisition pipelines, log monitoring, and alert systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
