Job Overview: Cloud Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and manage our cloud infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
  • Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud resources.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to optimize system performance, analyze trends, and implement betterments to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
  • Administer company SaaS platforms to ensure productivity of users is top priority.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with latest AWS services, features, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environment.
