Senior Quality Professional

About the Role
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products/services to ensure they meet specified quality standards and customer requirements.
    • Perform various tests (visual, dimensional, functional) using appropriate tools and equipment.
    • Identify and document non-conforming products or processes, initiating corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as needed.
    • Monitor critical control points in the production or service delivery process.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company's quality management system (QMS) (ISO 9001, industry-specific standards).
    • Contribute to the development and revision of quality control procedures, work instructions, and checklists.
    • Help conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data (defect rates, rejection rates, customer complaints).
    • Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
    • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) techniques where applicable.
  • Collaboration:
    • Participate in root cause analysis for quality issues and contribute to the development of effective solutions.
    • Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to implement quality improvement initiatives.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions.
  • Documentation & Training:
    • Maintain accurate and organized quality records, inspection logs, and documentation.
    • Assist in training production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure all quality activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
