Public Relations Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Public Relations Coordinator. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as a solid understanding of public relations, media, and communications.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for developing and executing PR campaigns and strategies that drive business growth and brand awareness.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in designing and implementing PR campaigns that align with business objectives
  • Create, edit, and disseminate press releases, newsletters, and media content that engage audiences and promote the brand
  • Cultivate relationships with media professionals, journalists, and influencers to secure coverage and partnerships
  • Analyze media coverage and produce comprehensive PR activity reports that inform business decisions
  • Support event planning, press conferences, and promotional activities that showcase the brand's expertise and values
  • Maintain and update the media contact database to ensure effective communication and outreach
  • Foster brand consistency across all communications by adhering to established style guides and messaging frameworks
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages
  • A deep understanding of public relations, media, and communications principles and practices
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong connections with media professionals, stakeholders, and team members
  • Proficiency in MS Office and social media platforms, with experience in creating engaging content and managing online presence
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in corporate communications, PR agency, or media relations, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing PR campaigns
  • Familiarity with digital PR tools, such as Meltwater, Cision, and Hootsuite, and experience in leveraging these tools to achieve business goals
  • Basic knowledge of content creation and graphic design principles, with the ability to create visually appealing and engaging content
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field
