Job Title: Portfolio Manager - Investment Operations

We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Manager to join our team and be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely portfolio valuations. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile client's general ledger data with market data providers
  • Perform various types of reconciliation between client's general ledger data and market data providers
  • Coordinate with clients and external sources for break resolution
  • Manage open and close-ended hedge funds with reconciliation and integration of trades for the clients
  • Account for corporate actions trades
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly GAV/NAV reports which includes booking of capital activities, market value reconciliation, computation of profit and loss for financial instruments, expense accounting, dividend accrual reconciliation, bond coupon accrual reconciliation, and confirming trial balance ledgers tie-up with various sub-ledgers
  • Review and prepare financial statements (US GAAP, IFRS)

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant or MBA with 5+ years of experience
  • In-depth understanding of preparing and reviewing financial statements (US GAAP, IFRS)
  • Good understanding of financial/Capital Markets products (Equity, Bonds, Future, Option, FX forwards)
  • Hands-on experience in working with MS Excel and formulas
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Requirements:

  • Certification course on Financial Markets/Products
  • Experience with general ledger accounting software
  • Experience in Mutual Funds Accounting/Audit
