Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant

Job Description:

As a seasoned Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in leading or supporting end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion Financials modules. This includes General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, Subledger Accounting (SLA), and Fusion Tax.

You will configure financial modules based on client requirements using Oracle best practices, conduct requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders, and perform fit-gap analysis and design functional solutions.

In addition, you will prepare functional specifications for reports, extensions, and integrations, develop and execute test scripts for CRP, SIT, and UAT phases, and support production cutover and post-go-live stabilization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in Oracle ERP Financials, with 2–3 years in Fusion Cloud.
  • Minimum one full-cycle Fusion Financials implementation.
  • Experience in industries like manufacturing, retail, banking, or public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation & Configuration:
  1. Configure financial modules based on client requirements using Oracle best practices.
  2. Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
  3. Perform fit-gap analysis and design functional solutions.
  • Functional Consulting:
  1. Prepare functional specifications for reports, extensions, and integrations.
  2. Develop and execute test scripts for CRP, SIT, and UAT phases.
  • Testing & Deployment:
  1. Support production cutover and post-go-live stabilization.
  2. Collaborate with technical teams for integrations using FBDI, Web Services, and OTBI.
