About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic associate to join our team of talented financial advisors, valuation professionals, and engineers. As an Implementation Specialist at 73 Strings, you will play a crucial role in the portfolio monitoring and valuation aspects, contributing to the development of products that leverage cutting-edge technology to deliver innovative solutions for the financial services industry. You will work independently with some of the largest private market firms, exploring uncharted territories at the intersection of AI and corporate finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Project Manager and execute on end-to-end implementations acting as Consultant & Subject Matter Expert for sophisticated private markets investors across various strategies (Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit, Real Estate, etc.) and geographies.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze financial data and reporting requirements.
  • Configure and implement financial systems, ensuring alignment with GAAP, IFRS, or other relevant standards.
  • Work with the product development team to create and enhance portfolio monitoring and valuation of products/features for the financial advisory industry.
  • Develop and train the team on best practices, producing and maintaining necessary implementation of artifacts.
  • Collaborate with the technology and SME team to ensure effective development of algorithms and workflows for task automation.

Requirements:

  • Graduate or post-graduate qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CA preferred) with a minimum of 2 + years of experience in financial auditing or financial statement analysis.
  • Strong understanding of income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and audit workflows.
  • Understanding various Private Equity and Private Credit valuation methodologies and approaches is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of APIs and SQL is a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking and time management skills
  • Self-starter with a strong desire to learn, grow, and consistently exceed objectives.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Knowledge of MS Office with exceptional MS Excel skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills.
