As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting the code for Amazon's various book royalty systems, including those that power Kindle Unlimited, print-on-demand, and all Kindle purchases across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable and efficient software systems using Java and Amazon Web Services technologies.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Work with the team to implement ideas and solutions, leveraging the latest technologies, including generative AI and LLMs.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments and reporting, paying what we say and saying what we pay.

About the Team

We build tech solutions for business problems related to Kindle financials, covering contracts, tax compliance, and accounting compliance. We serve the needs of publishers and authors worldwide.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
