As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire QA delivery process and ensuring that all development tasks meet quality criteria through thorough planning and automation.

About this Role

This is a senior-level position within the QA team, requiring a high level of expertise in test planning, execution, and defect management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading teams and driving quality improvements.

  • Lead QA deliveries and report to the QA manager for continuous feedback and improvement
  • Work closely with the engineering team to understand product architecture and functionality to ensure high-quality features delivery
  • Take complete ownership of release deliverables, including multitasking and mentoring
  • Generate QA artifacts such as test plans, test cases, and test execution reports, release deployment guides, etc.
  • Identify, document, and track defects. Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues
  • Prepare and configure test environments, including software installations and configurations
  • Conduct exploratory testing to find defects that might not be covered by test cases
  • Deploy microservices applications in Engineering environment. Support SRE teams for production releases
  • Improve processes for test plan reviews and ensure thoroughness of test scenarios
Key Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in functional and automated testing, with at least 8 years of experience in SAAS products and leadership roles. They will also have hands-on experience in test automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications, and must be familiar with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers.

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in functional and automating testing of SAAS products and leading teams of 3-5 engineers
  • Must have experience on public or private Cloud platforms
  • Certification of AWS, Azure, and GCP is a plus
  • Hands-on experience in test automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications
  • Must have experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers
  • Hands-on experience of functional UI and API automation
  • Linux knowledge is a must
  • Good to have experience on Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Oracle DB
