Job Overview

This role is pivotal in ensuring the bank's non-financial risk exposure is effectively managed in line with the group-wide risk appetite and NFRM framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Periodically review documentation for stakeholders involved in new product and transaction approval processes, implementing changes as part of quality assurance processes.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance reviews for product and transaction approvals to ensure the appropriate level of documentation and due diligence required by policy.
  • Review and challenge observed gaps, engaging with senior stakeholders to clarify and resolve these gaps, escalating as necessary for remediation.
  • Verify evidence provided by business on updated trade dates.
  • Assist global teams in performing quality assessments of various product and transaction submissions, supporting multiple product lifecycle elements.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement improvements.
  • Support global initiatives and priorities.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in risk management, knowledge of financial products, and control background.
  • Ability to grasp complex concepts and present them in an understandable manner to the target audience.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to challenge and enhance the status quo, developing innovative solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills, including detail orientation, and a flexible approach with a problem-solving focus.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement experience and ability to collaborate across a global team and diverse cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
