As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading engineering activities within projects. You will also oversee a team of engineers in the detail design department, managing their activities, resources and progress.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and execute all engineering activities within a project to ensure timely delivery and meet client requirements.
- Direct a team of engineers in the detail design department, ensuring effective distribution, control and monitoring of their work.
- Oversee and ensure quality in engineering deliverables and comply with relevant regulations.
- Perform occasional engineering work as required.
- Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Shipbuilding or Naval Architecture or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in detail and basic design projects, including shipbuilding and offshore sectors.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
