About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Live Video Engineer to join our team and lead the integration of Zegocloud features in our Flutter app. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Zegocloud UI Kit & SDK, as well as strong knowledge of live video streaming, beauty filters, PK battles, audio rooms, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage expertise in Zegocloud to design and implement high-quality live video features in our app, including host/guest flows, co-hosting, PK battles, multi-guest, invite/signaling.
  • Develop and maintain robust real-time comms, chat & signaling, room management, moderation, and virtual gifting functionalities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of live video features across Android and iOS platforms.
  • Optimize performance, fps/bitrate tuning, thermal & energy optimization on iOS, crash-free stability, and platform plumbing.
Requirements
  • 3+ shipped Flutter apps with substantial Zegocloud UI Kit/SDK integration.
  • Strong grasp of ZegoExpressEngine concepts: rooms, streams, tokens, signaling.
  • Proven experience implementing beauty filters, PK battles, audio rooms, stickers, and virtual gifting in production.
  • Solid understanding of iOS & Android platform chops: entitlements, background modes, permissions, ProGuard/obfuscation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools for Flutter (fastlane, code signing, Play/App Store basics).
