Project Cost Controller Job Summary

\

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Cost Controller to manage project costs, financial analysis and project management.

\Main Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Cost Analysis and Control: Conduct thorough cost analysis and implement control measures to ensure projects stay within budget.\
  • Cost Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on project costs for large-scale projects, tracking costs across various phases.\
  • Variance Analysis: Prepare detailed variance reports, analyzing the causes of deviations between budgeted and actual costs.\
  • Supplier Management: Validate petty cash and non-PO based expenses, assess suppliers, advance payments, and utilize credit facilities effectively.\
  • Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Collaborate with project teams to track progress and update percentage-of-completion calculations.\
  • Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and project-specific financial regulations.\
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to project costs and recommend strategies for cost reduction.\
  • Inventory and Procurement Cost Management: Work with procurement to control and analyze material and service costs.\

  • Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with IFRS 15, IFRS 9, IFRS 16, and IAS 16.\
  • Industry Expertise: Understanding of EPC project lifecycle, cost drivers, and risks.\
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management and accounting software.\
  • Analytical Skills: Strong skills in cost analysis, budgeting, and variance analysis.\
  • Communication Skills: Ability to present cost information effectively to management.\
