Our company is looking for a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Automation and Performance Tester. As a key member of our testing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium and MSTest.
  • Designing and implementing performance tests using JMeter to assess system performance and reliability.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Managing the release regression testing process to ensure smooth and timely software deployments.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

  • Utilizing Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Using Git for version control and maintaining organized and efficient code repositories.
  • Analyzing test results, identifying issues, and working with developers to resolve defects.
  • Providing leadership and mentorship to junior team members, promoting best practices in test automation and performance testing.
  • Contribution to the improvement of testing processes and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participating in team meetings, providing updates on testing progress, and reporting on testing metrics.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in automation testing, particularly with Selenium and MSTest.
  • Strong knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter.
  • Proficiency in C# programming language and xPath for test automation.
  • Experience with SQL for database verification and testing.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and project management.
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems, especially Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in team management and leadership roles.
