Job Opportunity:

Storage Systems Administrator

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Implement and configure NetApp storage systems, covering procurement, installation, configuration, software upgrades, and data provisioning.
  • Add disk shelves to existing storage for standalone and high-availability controllers.
  • Configure and manage disaster recovery replications via snapmirror.
  • Manage vfilers, fiber interconnect switches, storage reporting tools, and monitoring applications.
  • Provide operational support to the File Serving / NAS Infrastructure within the organization, planning and implementing data migrations.
  • Utilize an operational ticketing system to record changes and work history details.
  • Address Disk, Aggregate, Qtree, Volume issues.
  • Monitor Storage Critical Events.

Required Technical Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with NetApp and Hitachi systems.
  • Strong technical skills and in-depth knowledge of CMODE, CDOT, and fabric switches.
  • Significant experience with NetApp software tools (OCUM, OCI, etc.).
  • Excellent understanding of CIFS, NFS technologies.
  • Experience with enterprise process mapping tools and techniques, industry best practices, ITIL, Agile.

  • Knowledge of industry-standard protocols and technologies is necessary.
