Automation Testing Lead

We seek a seasoned Automation Testing Lead with expertise in test automation, particularly within the medical devices industry.

The ideal candidate will oversee and lead automation testing activities, ensuring compliance with global healthcare regulations and high-quality delivery standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage test automation activities across projects in the medical devices domain.
  • Review and approve test scripts prior to submission for acceptance by the Product Owner or SME.
  • Implement best practices in test automation methodologies.
  • Mentor engineers in automation testing techniques.
  • Build technical capabilities within the team to handle complex testing scenarios.
  • Ensure adherence to global healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and align testing practices accordingly.
  • Liaise between internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Drive alignment between technical and business requirements.
  • Provide hands-on technical support and guidance when necessary.
  • Monitor emerging trends and innovations in test automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of testing experience, with at least 5 years in test automation.
  • Developing and maintaining automation test frameworks using Java and Selenium.
  • Proven track record of leading automation testing for medical devices.
  • Experience with desktop-based automation on platforms (Windows based), FlaUI/WinAppDriver/ TestComplete/WhiteFramework.
  • Hands-on experience in script review and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with global healthcare regulations.
  • Experience interpreting and applying these regulations in testing scenarios.
  • Team leadership, coaching, and collaboration experience with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
