Senior QA Engineer

At the heart of financial markets, we facilitate access to global capital. As a key player in the transaction process chain, our business areas cover trading, clearing, settlement and custody, digital assets, market analytics, and advanced electronic systems.

We are seeking a seasoned professional to test Eurex Clearing applications for Swaps derivatives and their components.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Design, prepare and execute manual tests for the Swaps Clearing application
  • Develop automated tests for the Swaps Clearing application
  • Execute test automation suites
  • Create test scenarios and data
  • Sustain and maintain test infrastructure for the Swaps Clearing application
  • Collaborate with international team members

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A university degree or higher technical degree in an IT-related discipline
  • Technical skills in J2EE applications on Spring boot
  • Familiarity with Calypso architecture and Calypso Automation Test Tool (CATT)
  • Experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • SQL database expertise in Oracle
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
  • Background in building test automation for J2EE applications
  • Additional skills in one or more of the following areas will be advantageous:
  • XML knowledge and FPML 5.x
  • Functional knowledge of Interest Rate Swaps, FRA, Central Counterparty
  • Shell scripting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated and attentive to details
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural team environment
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
