Senior ASIC Test Development Engineer

This role requires a senior test development engineer with expertise in developing and executing complex tests for ASIC designs. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of digital circuits, signal processing, and embedded systems.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing high-quality test plans and procedures to ensure efficient and effective testing of ASICs
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical issues and improve overall product quality
  • Designing and optimizing testbench environments to achieve maximum test coverage and throughput
  • Debugging and troubleshooting complex test failures using analytical and problem-solving skills

Key qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ASIC test development, preferably in a similar industry or domain
  • Expert-level knowledge of digital circuit design, analysis, and simulation tools
  • Familiarity with advanced test methodologies, such as ATPG, BIST, and Boundary Scan
  • Strong programming skills in languages like C, C++, Python, or MATLAB
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
