Job Title: Lead-Hostel Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our hostel operations team.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the overall hostel operations strategy, ensuring smooth and efficient services from move-ins to daily activities and escalations.
  • Lead a team of hostel managers, support staff, and vendor coordinators to deliver exceptional student experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with the Programme Director and Parent Affairs Team to align hostel policies with institutional objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for student and parent concerns related to residential life, providing timely and empathetic support.
  • Maintain proactive, transparent communication with parents in sensitive or emergency situations, fostering trust and confidence across all stakeholder groups.
  • Oversee third-party vendors and partners involved in housekeeping, security, food, and maintenance, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  • Review and approve standard operating procedures (SOPs), incident reports, safety checks, and compliance protocols to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Promote a positive residential culture that is inclusive, respectful, and aligned with student well-being, championing initiatives to gather feedback and continuously improve the residential experience.
  • Present regular reports on hostel performance, grievances, service levels, and student satisfaction to inform data-driven decision-making.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 4–8 years of experience in leadership or supervisory roles within hospitality, luxury housing, student co-living, or client experience environments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective handling of student concerns and high-touch parent interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage vendors, and drive results through others, leveraging strong conflict resolution, prioritization, and people management skills.
