Job Summary

This role involves managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely payments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with suppliers to facilitate payments, refunds, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Update the supplier reconciliation portal to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with clients to obtain missing vendor bills and approvals in a timely manner.
  • Prepare weekly accounts payable reports, process vendor payments, and allocate them accordingly.
  • Review vendor reconciliations performed by associates.
  • Obtain W9 forms from vendors and prepare 1099 workings for tax purposes.
  • Reconcile tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Review sales entries on a weekly basis to identify discrepancies.
  • Review sales tax and prompt tax working files, and prepare use tax calculations as required.
  • Prepare CRT/TPT/8027 and other county tax returns in accordance with regulations.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Respond to emails within 48 hours to ensure prompt communication.
  • Deliver AP reports to clients on time, meeting their expectations.
  • Meet internal month-end closing deadlines for financials, ensuring timely submission.
  • Train new team members and assist their integration into the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes and systems, promoting efficiency and productivity.
  • Be open to learning new processes and adapting to assigned roles, demonstrating flexibility and a growth mindset.
  • Attend internal training/development sessions for personal and professional growth, enhancing skills and knowledge.
  • Mentor and train associates in day-to-day operations, sharing expertise and best practices.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor of Commerce degree is required for this position.
