Job Description

The role of a Product Owner is crucial in shaping the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Cloud manager platform. This involves defining and championing the product vision, understanding the capabilities, features, and architecture of our Ericsson Orchestrator – Cloud Manager, including 4G, LTE, 5G components, lifecycle management, package management, Openstack functioning, image management, K8S, and Docker.

A successful Product Owner will have a deep understanding of orchestration concepts, service modeling, and automation workflows. They will conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities and unmet needs.

The ideal candidate will create and maintain a prioritized product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. They will write clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and other product documentation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Defining and championing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Ericsson Orchestrator – Cloud manager platform.
  • Deep understanding of Ericsson Orchestrator – Cloud Manager capabilities, features, and architecture.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.
  • Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog.
  • Write clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and other product documentation.
Requirements

The following skills and qualifications are required:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner (6+ years preferred) with a focus on technical products or platforms.
  • Experience working with orchestration platforms, ideally Ericsson Orchestrator Cloud Manager.
  • Strong understanding of agile software development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus.
