Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Job Description

As a senior quality assurance engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of testing strategies to ensure the highest level of product quality.

Responsibilities
  • Test Strategy Development: Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans to cover all aspects of the product.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, design tests, and execute test cases.
  • Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing time.
  • Code Review: Participate in code reviews to ensure that critical test scenarios are covered.
  • Monitoring: Monitor test runs, application errors, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with stakeholders and team members to ensure seamless collaboration.
Requirements
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of UI testing, REST protocol, and microservice architecture. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Kibana, and Grafana.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in languages such as Java/Kotlin, Swift, and their usage under a CI/CD pipeline.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills in English.
