Senior Test Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Assurance Specialist to drive quality and reliability within our software applications.

  • Job Summary: We require a skilled professional with 2-5 years of experience in Manual and Functional Testing, possessing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
    • Conduct thorough manual testing of web and backend applications, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
    • Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing, utilizing industry-standard tools and techniques.
    • Identify, document, and track bugs using standard bug tracking tools, providing actionable insights for team members.
    • Participate in requirement analysis, offering expert QA insights during planning and implementation phases.
    • Contribute to process improvements and QA best practices, ensuring continuous quality and efficiency gains.
  • Required Skills:
    • Strong understanding of Regression, Smoke, and Sanity testing techniques, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios.
    • Proficiency in SQL for backend validation, as well as experience with Automation Testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter).
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good to Have:
    • Experience working in Mortgage, Finance, or Banking domains, with knowledge of IBMi systems.
    • Exposure to Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
