Our ApproachWe take a three-pronged approach to achieve our mission:
- Research and Strategy: We conduct in-depth research on identified sectors, engage with stakeholders, and build data-backed evidence for change.
- Communication and Outreach: We build salience for opportunities in target sectors and the need for reforms through op-eds, social media, and one-on-one engagement with key bureaucrats and policymakers.
- Implementation Support: We work with select state governments to help implement specific actions to promote the target sectors.
We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as a Consultant. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving India's business environment and enhancing its manufacturing potential. This role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement abilities, and a problem-solving mindset to work closely with state and central governments, businesses, and policymakers.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on deregulation and ease of doing business in India.
- Perform primary and secondary research to assess gaps in existing processes and policies across critical areas such as land acquisition, environmental clearances, trade regulations, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) compliance, logistics, and other relevant domains.
- Engage with stakeholders at multiple levels to gather insights and propose actionable recommendations.
- Develop high-quality, client-ready outputs that effectively communicate findings and recommendations to facilitate policy improvements and regulatory streamlining.
- 3-5 years of experience in public policy, economic development, or consulting.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Experience working with government stakeholders, regulatory bodies, or industry associations is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
