Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Design Engineer with leadership experience to join our team.

  • This is a senior role responsible for block-level Physical Design from RTL/Netlist to GDSII, ensuring timely delivery and quality output.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to drive Physical, Timing & Power Signoff at the block level, identify areas of improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • In addition, they will lead the generation and closure of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), develop and maintain scripts using Perl, Tcl, Awk, and Python, and manage a team of 4–6 engineers as the client's Single Point of Contact (SPOC).

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute Physical Design flows and signoff strategies for block-level designs
  • Lead the ECO generation and closure process to ensure timely and efficient design changes
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong technical skills in Physical Design flows and signoff methodologies, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proven experience in leading small project teams.
