Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary leader to oversee the production lifecycle of enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate should have exceptional technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong problem-solving skills.

They will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of applications.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. End-to-End Production Ownership: Manage the production environment, focusing on stability, performance, and scalability.
  2. Application Engineering Oversight: Collaborate with engineering teams to drive continuous improvement, automation, and performance tuning.
  3. Production Support & Incident Management: Lead 24x7 production support operations, defining SLAs, driving root cause analysis, and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  4. Solutioning & Technical Leadership: Provide direction on technical solutions, architecture decisions, and process improvements.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal business units, clients, and external partners.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, QA, infrastructure, security, and compliance teams.
  7. Risk & Compliance: Ensure production environments adhere to all compliance, audit, and security standards.
  8. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing team of production engineers and support analysts.

Qualifications & Skills:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  2. 15+ years of experience in IT, with 5+ years in a leadership role in production/application support
  3. Proven experience in managing large-scale, business-critical applications
  4. Strong problem-solving, crisis management, and decision-making skills
  5. Deep understanding of ITIL framework, DevOps principles, and SRE best practices
  6. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  7. Experience with monitoring tools, cloud environments, and automation
  8. Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Certifications:
  1. ITIL v4 Foundation / Intermediate
  2. PMP / Prince2 (optional but advantageous)
  3. Cloud certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure Architect or DevOps)
