Vehicle Crash Simulation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Crash Simulation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for conducting full vehicle crash simulations and durability loadcase simulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct full vehicle crash simulations and durability loadcase simulations using specialized software.
  • Develop and maintain high-fidelity finite element models (FEMs) for crash and durability analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize simulation needs and objectives.
  • Communicate simulation results and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automobile Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-6 years of experience in meshing, module building, and high-speed crash analysis.
  • Proficiency in ANSA as preprocessor, LSDyna for crash loadcase, Abacus for durability evaluation, Animator/Hyperworks for post-processing.
  • Strong understanding of BiW manufacturing processes, material models, and physics of crash and durability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) principles and practices.
