Senior Network Strategist

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will design and implement complex network infrastructures, supporting WAN, LAN, WLAN on a multi-vendor network. They will create and maintain documentation for the implementation of customer networks, including change approval processes.

This role involves hands-on implementation of customer networks, as well as support and coaching other engineers at a technical level to provide high-quality services/solutions to customers.

The Senior Network Strategist will lead and assist in defining the strategy needed to enable delivery of complex projects. They will manage deliverables on complex customer design and implementation projects and perform advanced analysis on any complex incidents.

This role also includes fourth-level support for Operations as part of the 'Incident and Problem Management Process'. The candidate will create processes for other engineers to follow in order to successfully deliver solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Two or more technical certifications at associate or professional levels related to VZ Product portfolio areas.
  • Technical knowledge & experience to Juniper JNCIP or JNCIE level with focus on WAN, LAN, WLAN.
  • Technical knowledge & experience with Aruba Central, Aruba switches and Aruba WLAN highly beneficial.
  • Technical knowledge & experience with Mist dashboard and WLAN is also highly beneficial.
  • Technical knowledge & experience to Cisco CCNP or CCIE level on WAN & LAN beneficial.
