Financial Transformation Leaders oversee organizational changes such as mergers, acquisitions, and company spin-offs. They are responsible for JD Edwards (JDE) ERP activities, including process mapping, configuration, data migration, compliance, and integration with external systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transformation Planning & Execution: Design and implement JDE processes for company separation, including inactivation of accounts, closure of company codes, and data extraction strategies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Define the scope of divestiture and ensure alignment with business and compliance requirements.
  • Finance Expertise: Configure and support modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and multi-currency setups.
  • Data Migration & Integration: Lead historical data extraction and handover to acquiring entities, ensuring seamless integration with systems like SAP, Hyperion, and EBS during transitions.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement SOX-compliant security using tools like All Out, generating and reviewing Segregation of Duties reports.
  • Documentation & Training: Prepare as-is/to-be process documents, runbooks, and training materials, conducting user training and creating self-help documentation to reduce support tickets.

Requirements include 12–15 years of experience in JD Edwards ERP with a focus on Finance and cross-functional modules, proven experience in at least one company separation, merger, or acquisition project, strong understanding of JDE configuration, data structures, and integration points, familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOX, audit readiness), and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
