At FallenAmbers, we're seeking an experienced compensation specialist to handle and process insurance claims in Rajkot, India.

Job Overview

We're looking for a reliable individual with strong analytical thinking and excellent writing skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a claims adjuster or similar role, with working experience in using appraisal software.

About the Role

The compensation specialist will be responsible for inspecting property and physical damage, analyzing complex information from different sources, examining claim liability, preparing and processing claim reports, consulting with specialists, calculating benefits and payments, negotiating settlements with claimants, and supporting attorneys to defend the company in case of contestation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of property and physical damage to determine claim liability.
  • Information Analysis: Analyze complex information from various sources, including police reports, videos, and audio recordings.
  • Claim Liability Examination: Examine claim liability and prepare detailed reports.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare and process claim reports, including calculations of benefits and payments.
  • Specialist Consultation: Consult with specialists, such as physicians and engineers, to determine claim liability.
  • Settlement Negotiation: Negotiate settlements with claimants and support attorneys in defending the company in case of contestation.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a claims adjuster or similar role.
  • Software Proficiency: Working experience in using appraisal software.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Writing Skills: Experience in writing detailed reports.
  • Personality Traits: Compassionate and resilient personality.
  • Education: High school diploma; degree in Insurance, Finance, or a similar field is a plus.
Skills Required

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is ₹8,00,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
