Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in big data and data-related technologies, with a strong understanding of distributed computing principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop large-scale data processing systems using Apache Spark and Python.
  • Work with Hadoop v2, MapReduce, HDFS, and Sqoop to process and store large datasets.
  • Develop stream-processing systems using Apache Storm or Spark-Streaming.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources, including RDBMS, ERP, and files.
  • Design and implement efficient ETL processes using various frameworks.
  • Lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement big data solutions.
Requirements:
  • 5-12 years of experience in big data and data-related technologies.
  • Expert-level understanding of distributed computing principles.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Apache Spark and hands-on programming with Python.
  • Proficiency with Hadoop v2, MapReduce, HDFS, Sqoop, and other related tools.
  • Experience with messaging systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Good understanding of big data querying tools, like Hive and Impala.
  • Ability to lead a team efficiently and work collaboratively in an agile environment.
