This is a highly skilled position that requires experience in MS-SQL Database administration.

  • Main Responsibilities:">
  • Installation, upgradation, and migration of SQL Servers.">
  • Applying patches or service packs for SQL Server.">
  • Configuring high availability/disaster recovery solutions.">
  • Setting up automated alerts to send mail to the team if there are any issues.">
  • Working on incidents, change tickets and problem tickets.">
  • Maintenance plans for Backups, Database integrity check, Rebuild index, Update statistics, and ensuring all jobs run without issues.">
  • Troubleshooting locking issues, including deadlocks, blocking, lock timeouts, and fixing them.">
  • Joining bridge calls to troubleshoot and fix P1 (SEV1) and P2 (SEV2) incidents.">
  • Hands-on experience in Always on and DB Mirroring.">
  • Executing all changes of db schema and maintaining controlled development database environment.">
  • Collaborating with application developers to test, configure, and optimize servers based on application demands.">
  • Handling database object deployment to Integration, QA, UAT, and Production.">
  • Providing day-to-day support for high OLTP HA of SQL Server databases – Identifying root causes of production problems and working with developers to resolve such problems.">
  • Working on performance tuning like creating missing indexes.">
  • Willingsness to work in 24X7 projects (Shifts).">
  • Experience in scripting using Perl, PowerShell.">
  • Experience in AWS/Azure.">
