Key Responsibilities:

Develop the standard cell library from ground up and support existing libraries.

Analyze performance, power, and area tradeoffs between different cell circuit architectures in real-world usage environments.

Collaborate with layout team to define floor plans and layout guidelines for schematics, ensuring optimum design efficiency.

Circuit Design:

Design and implement combinatorial, power management, and sequential circuits with optimal functionality and performance.

Perform equivalence verification using advanced tools like ESPCV.

Verify functionality, performance, and power of developed circuits through rigorous testing and validation.

Library Characterization:

Characterize and generate views of libraries with custom process, voltage, and temperature corners.

Model new and existing cells to support industry-wide PnR, simulation, and signoff tools, ensuring seamless integration.

Documentation and Automation:

Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of work, design flows, and reports.

Automate manual tasks to reduce overall time and effort, improving productivity and efficiency.

Tools and Experience:

Work with leading-edge EDA tools, including RC-extraction, SPICE simulators, and schematic/layout editors.

Have experience working with various file formats like lef, NLDM, CCS, .LIB, and other relevant views.
