**Early Childhood Development Ecosystem Leader**

Ummeed is seeking a seasoned professional to play a pivotal role in advancing its strategic objective of promoting inclusive early childhood development. The Co-Head will work closely with the current leadership team to make Ummeed's vision for inclusive ECD in India a reality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for inclusive ECD programs in select geographies.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders in government bodies and partner organizations to establish relationships and drive advocacy efforts.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate additional/future programs in other states and regions.
  • Lead and mentor members of Ummeed's ECD team.
  • Support funder conversations, proposals, reports, and data writing.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in social work, early childhood education, public health, or medical/para-medical professionals.
  • Experience of 10 to 15 years in settings such as government agencies, nonprofit organizations, hospitals, or primary healthcare units.
  • Candidate expected to travel several times a year to rural and underserved areas to enable ECD to be more accessible to vulnerable populations.
