Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled IT professional to join our team as a Linux Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Linux-based systems, including troubleshooting issues, implementing security patches, and maintaining system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • LVM concept - FS creation, extension, and troubleshooting
  • Multipath concept – Validating multipath, adding Luns and enabling multipath
  • Ensuring performance specifications are met
  • Evaluating and correcting OS vulnerabilities by patching servers
  • Coordinating with vendors in case of hardware or OS-level issues
  • Log rotation and managing file system usage
  • Implementing changes as per application and DB team requirements at OS level
  • Following Do's and Don'ts as per SLA and Wirpo and Customer Process adherence while handling BAU
  • Service management (NTP, SSH, AUTOFS)
  • Fixing server access and bootable issues, including fixing grub
  • OS-level trouble shooting in bringing up the server

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration and configuration
  • Experience with LVM and multipath concepts
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
