Integration Lead Job Description

The role of an Integration Lead is to oversee the integration process and ensure seamless communication between different systems. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers to design, implement, and optimize enterprise integration solutions.
  • Drive the migration from legacy systems to modern middleware architecture using SoftwareAG WebMethods.
  • Manage API & Middleware, including Azure APIM and WebMethods API Gateway.
  • Design and maintain REST/SOAP APIs, orchestrations, and workflows.
  • Ensure integration security and compliance by implementing OAuth, JWT, and SAML protocols.
Required Skills:
  • 5-8 years of experience in WebMethods, BizTalk, API Gateway, and integration solutions.
  • Expertise in API development (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, messaging protocols).
  • Strong skills in APIM, BizTalk Server, SQL Server, Docker/Kubernetes, Azure Service Bus, Kafka/RabbitMQ.
  • Coding skills: C#, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Knowledge of microservices, ESB, BPM, and workflow automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Mgmt).
  • DevOps (CI/CD in Azure), certifications in WebMethods/APIM.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide integration projects.
  • Agile, JIRA/Confluence familiarity.
