Advanced Security Specialist

Cybersecurity professionals in this role possess a deep understanding of technical issues and participate in management, prioritization, design, enhancements, incident activities, problem management, stability analysis, and on-call support.

These experts have an in-depth understanding and expertise in one or two technology platforms, such as CyberArk, IAM process, Network, Firewall, Windows/Unix Administration, etc.

They must be proactive in nature, identifying problems in advance and seeking continuous service improvement opportunities. Prior experience with CyberArk configurations and major enhancement/development with problem-solving skills is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute independently to new demand requirements
  • Provide solutions for customer needs
  • Handle and troubleshoot priority incidents effectively
  • Patching and handling changes efficiently
  • Develop knowledge base articles and technical documentation
  • Analyze logs on GPAM component servers
  • Open CyberArk tickets
  • Set up test systems
  • Request firewall changes
  • Provide 24/7 On-call Support
  • Coordinate with the Engineering Team/process owners

Qualifications, Experience, Technical, and Functional Skills:

  • Must-Have:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
    • Business Analyst responsibilities
    • Unix and Windows Administration
    • Knowledge in networking/CCNA certification
  • Good-to-Have:
    • Handling general updates and configuration changes/requests
    • CyberArk Defender, Sentry - Certification
    • DevOps experience – having experience with Dynatrace/Docker/Puppet/Ansible/GIT tools
    • PowerShell Scripting knowledge
