Job Opportunity: Payroll Specialist

Purpose:

This role involves assisting in the management and administration of payroll operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accounting records, prepare reports, resolve discrepancies and perform routine audits.
  • Record and analyze financial data, receive and pay invoices, and prepare analysis and reconciliations to detect potential issues.
  • Assist in managing financial risk through planning, reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of multi-state taxation, tax payments, deposits, and year-end reporting.
  • Ability to accurately analyze and reconcile financial activity, identify possible issues, make recommendations, and support conclusions.
  • Familiarity with ADP and/or Workday software and vendor relationships.
