Job Summary

The Procurement Strategist will be responsible for managing project procurement activities, including import and local purchases of equipment, while overseeing contract management to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely availability of goods and services essential for project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire procurement cycle for projects, including RFQ, CS, negotiation, NFA, contract creation, and PO issuance.
  • Handle high-value equipment purchases, including detailed costing, negotiation, contract formulation, and compliance with import regulations.
  • Possess strong knowledge of import Incoterms and Letter of Credit (LC) payment transactions for seamless international trade.
  • Expertise in various auction types, online e-auction processes, import freight negotiations, and shipment tracking as per project timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, standards, and procedures while supporting the local tendering process as per project requirements.

Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience in Greenfield/Brownfield projects with a focus on procurement strategy, cost control, and timely execution.
  • Skills in vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Ability to develop vendors, negotiate costs, and optimize sourcing.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
