Job Overview:

The Manager of Information Security Governance will develop, implement and manage the organization's IT security governance programs. The position ensures that security policies, processes and controls align with business objectives, industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and enforce IT security policies, standards and procedures to protect the organization from cyber threats.
  • Establish governance frameworks that ensure security controls align with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of security objectives.
  • Provide regular reports and metrics to executive leadership on risk posture, compliance status, and governance maturity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in information security, IT risk management or IT audit, with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, standards and regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing enterprise risk management or compliance programs.
