Job Title: Senior Electronics Specialist

Orbit Skyline is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Specialist with expertise in various electronics components. The ideal candidate will be part of a team delivering efficient engineering support and solutions to customers while contributing to the development of the Indian semiconductor ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods
  • Work on obsolescence activities to qualify replacements, perform testing to qualify and release in the system along with documentation
  • End-to-end ownership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and qualify engineering solutions
  • Rapidly generate design concepts that develop into detailed drawings for manufacturing
  • Participate in design reviews to present designs throughout phases of design and development
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electronics or related field with 3-5 years of experience
  • Master's degree preferred with 1 year of experience
  • Comfortable working with US-based timings
Mandatory Skills:
  • Good understanding of electronics components, schematics/system interconnect
  • Select and recommend components based on application and circuit requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Critical/system-level thinking
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with part lifecycle management, change orders using PLM systems
  • Knowledge of electronic components obsolescence
  • Understanding of PCB and components
  • Hands-on experience with testing electronics components (bench-level test and system-level test)
  • Hands-on experience with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software
