MEP Project Engineer Job Opportunity

As a seasoned MEP project engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in high-rise buildings and residential complexes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Planning

Develop comprehensive designs for MEP systems, integrating them seamlessly into overall building architecture. Ensure that all designs meet relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

  • Collaboration

Work closely with architects, construction managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems. Foster strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.

  • System Management

Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of equipment and components for all MEP systems. Develop strategies for energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and minimal environmental impact.

  • Efficiency and Sustainability

Design and optimize systems for maximum energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and minimal environmental impact. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement sustainable solutions.

  • Documentation and Problem-Solving

Prepare and review detailed drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates for all MEP scope of work. Identify and resolve any issues related to MEP systems during the design, installation, or operational phases.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Knowledge

A deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, power systems, and water distribution. Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools.

  • Project Management

Ability to manage project timelines and resources related to MEP installations. Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Communication

Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders. Ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.

  • Problem-Solving and Attention to Detail

Aptitude for critical thinking and resolving complex technical challenges. Precision in reviewing designs and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Requirements and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 6 to 8 years of experience, preferably in high-rise buildings, residential complexes, and townships.
