As a professional economist, you will play a key role in supporting the manufacturing department's research efforts.

Job Description

Conduct surveys and collect data to inform economic decisions, analyzing data using statistical techniques and analytical models. Present research results in reports, tables, and charts, interpreting and forecasting market trends to advise businesses, governments, and individuals on economic topics.

Recommend solutions to economic problems and write articles for academic journals and other media outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategize and plan research agendas and report concepts, ensuring at least one detailed report is produced within a year.
  2. Engage with ministries, universities, think tanks, and other agencies in research assignments, resulting in at least one co-authored report or publication with government or academia.
  3. Identify research agenda and initiatives, working with various stakeholders to determine topics of research.
  4. Prepare discussion points and talking points for meetings and discussion forums, providing relevant content and supporting effective delivery.
  5. Makes relevant presentations in various forums and delivers crisp presentations during committee, council, or government meetings.
  6. Interpret issues and concerns raised by stakeholders, recommending solutions to address these issues.

  • Postgraduate degree in economics from a leading university in India or abroad.
